This film, directed and produced by Alexandra Moskalenko, has been
entered in the BAFTA ( British Academy of Film and Television Arts)
awards. A special screening for the BAFTA Voting Members will take
place at the Greenwich Picturehouse on 26th October 2008 at 11am. There
are only a limited number of tickets available to the public. Early
booking is recommended to avoid disappointment on the day. The
screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the film-maker.
Tea Time tells the story of the Blackheath Tea Hut, a tea stall
situated on the A2 motorway, in Greenwich , London , longitude 0°. It
explores the day to day life of the Tea Hut for an entire year and
paints the portrait of some of its customers. Viewers will encounter -
amongst others - the regulars, a policeman, a Catholic sister, one or
two foxes and a few quirky nocturnal characters…”

Artwork inspired by the story of Dirty Sally, by graphic designer, Ben Wiseman was the subject of twenty foot high projections courtesy of The Blue Light District at the Artful Dodger's Party. Officer Kicks played their first live gig on the last night of the first Artful (005), released a DIY single during last year's Artful (limited CD courtesy of The Blue Light District) and have had an amazing 2008 with their first album The Six Grand Plot. Very much a part of the socialist music biz revolution, the S.E.London based quartet rehearse on Creekside. Today Deptford Tomorrow The World, as the legendary t-shirts say.
